Iowa Caucus Information: The Basics

Mark your calendars. You have a big date at 6:30 PM on January 3rd. Don't worry, you'll still be home early. Caucusing only takes about an hour.
Check your local listings. You can find your precinct location in your local newspaper, or right here on our website.
The early bird gets the worm. Make sure you arrive by 6:30 PM the night of the caucus. The doors close at 7:00 PM sharp!
No registration? No worries! You can register at the door, as long as you will be 18 by November 4, 2008...even if you were previously registered as a Republican or Independent.
Follow the leader. Find your John Edwards Precinct Captains. You won't be able to miss them, they'll be wearing a John Edwards Precinct Captain button.
Gather 'round. Find the other John Edwards supporters in their designated area of the room (there will be lots of them!). They'll be in the corner with all of the John Edwards stuff!
If not now, then when? Some other candidates might not have enough support to gain a delegate and their supporters will have to pick another candidate. Invite them to join John Edwards! Tell them about his vision for One America!
Celebrate! We did it! Now start calling your friends in New Hampshire!
